Art at The Coach House.

April - June: Laura Barnett
Natural Layers. This artwork has been created on linen, silk and cotton fabrics using layers of natural, eco- and rust dying and further embellished with layers of appliqué , hand embroidery, Kantha stitching and beadwork. All plants, berries, nuts and rusted metal used have been collected locally.

July, August and September:  Lesley Maddock, her work is influenced by Klimpt and Van Gogh. She uses colour and texture enthusiastically in an attempt to share her love of nature. Oils, acrylics, metallic finishes, ink and collage are frequently applied to the same canvas with brush, pallet knife, fingers, sponge and anything else that seems appropriate at the time.
