MUDFest!

Have you been watching the Great Pottery Throwdown and have always wanted to have a go? Then come along to the first Ceramic Festival in South Cumbria – MUDFest.

There will be stalls selling handmade ceramics from sculptures to functional ware.  If you fancy having a go yourself there will be drop-in sessions (small charge applies) on the wheel as well as demonstrations throughout the day.

Local food vendors will be onsite to provide refreshments, so it promises to be a packed and enjoyable day.

How would you like to be drinking your morning coffee from a cup made by your own hands?   Join Kathryn in a 1hr workshop as she guides you through the processes to create your own individual mug. You will design, build and decorate your mug before it is fired back at her studio.   Nothing to bring, just your enthusiasm!   Finished mugs once glazed and fired can be collected from the gardens at Ford Park on Saturday 1st June.
